History
Saraswati B.Ed Mahavidyalaya Campus situated at Rooma, kanpur, at a distance of about one k.m. from Rooma Railway station and about 12 k.m. from Kanpur Central station. College campus is situated on Delhi Calcutta national highway. The college has the main building consisting of class rooms, libraries, laboratories and administrative blocks. It has a boys hostel in which 40 students can be accommodated and college has also a girls hostel in which 20 students can be accommodated. The college has well laid play fields for out door games and sports. We have 400 meters standard Track, Basket Ball Court, Hand Ball Court, Boxing Ring, Foot Ball Ground, Kho-Kho Court and kabbadi Court. College having a standard Ground 75 Yards Lush green play field which has two turp and three cemented pitches.
Saraswati B.Ed Mahavidyalaya believes in bringing diversity in college education and recognizing and fostering the capacities and capabilities of the students coming from different socio-cultural and educational milieu. To fulfill these objectives, Saraswati B.Ed mahavidyalaya offers well designed general and professional courses to make the students confident, skillful and self-reliant. Apart from these courses, students are motivated and encouraged to participate in various co-curricular activities for their personality enhancement. To provide vocational guidance and placement services to the professionals in this field.
Saraswati B.Ed Mahavidyalaya is committed to academic excellence and the values of humanism. Curricular and co-curricular activities of the college provide a plateform to the students to express themselves, develop confidence and leadership qualities. Students creativity is evident in wide-ranging activities organized by the various societies and associations working under the guidance of the staff advisors. The sports teams of the college are energetic and vibrant and have won many trophies and medals.
learning process is facilitated in fully ventilated and large class rooms, a specialized and rich library which fulfill the needs of the students in every fields and a well equipped computer lab rich of 12 computers, a seminar room, conference room. The college also provides residential facilities for the Principal, teaching faculty, non teaching staff and students .There is a proposal to build a new academic block in the coming session for management students.
